T (Other Lands)
T was saved in Michigan in 1973. Within a few years of his salvation, T felt a need for formal Bible training. He applied to the Discipleship Intern Training Program in 1975 with the goal of returning to Michigan to expand the youth ministries. During the program, he became interested in reaching Muslims for Christ and began to be led by God to serve in his destination country.
In 1977, he joined Operation Mobilization, and after some time in the unreached country, he became part of a church planting team in their destination country. He married, a native of Germany, in 1980, and returned to his destination country to begin a ministry involving friendship evangelism. While traveling around the country, they became aware of the many (32,460) small villages that had no gospel testimony at all, and God began to give them a vision for their current ministry of sending Christian literature to each village by mail.
This current project involved developing questions on 100 topics that false religion followers might ask about regarding Christianity. They are currently in correspondence with 40 false relogion followers, and are able to send literature to approximately 400 people per month that have probably never been exposed to the gospel at all. T's vision is to sow God's word in every village in the destination country, trusting that God's word will not return void and that His Spirit will convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. T is currently involved in the leadership of the local church.
