PAM AND DAVID WILSON
Joel, Sean
Birmingham, England
Pam came to know the Lord through Fairhaven in the early 1960's at age 16. She fellowshipped at Fairhaven until attending Emmaus Bible College. While there, Pam served on several short term missionary efforts in Ireland, and upon graduation in 1968 she was permanently assigned to Dublin serving as a secretary to a Christian literature distribution agency.
David came to know to the Lord at the age of 5 through the ministry of his father. At age 7, he determined to be a missionary. David grew up in a town in Northern Ireland that, although small, offered him some training in evangelism. As a university student, Dave met Pam while receiving training by Campus Crusade for Christ. They were married in 1971. Pam returned to Fairhaven a year later to introduce her new husband to the assembly.
From 1973 until 1986, they served full time with Campus Crusade. First they directed the work in Ireland, and then they were transferred to the European headquarters in Germany where they were in charge of the missionary sending center. In 1991 they were sent to England to direct the work there. They find that the greatest need is to train believers in practical Christian living among new believers. Their vision for England is to train missionaries to send to the world's unreached people groups. A team left in May of 1995 for Ufa, the capital city of Bashkortostan, Russia.
